A little help for grown-ups.
Mixie is preparing for release. Here are the basics for saving looks, adding clothes, and choosing the features that work for your family.
Get in touch
The support mailbox is being set up. Delivery has not yet been verified.
Please include the Mixie version, iPad model, iPadOS version, and a short description of what happened. Don't send a Parent PIN, device passcode, child's voice recording, personal photo, or private wardrobe file.
Save and reopen a look
In Create, name your look and tap Save look. Open Saved and choose that look to keep editing. Clothes, stickers, words, size, rotation, and layers stay editable. If a save reports an error, keep the current composition open and retry after resolving the error. Don't delete or reinstall the app as a first troubleshooting step: app-local content may be lost.
Add your own clothes
Open My Clothes and choose Add clothes. A grown-up unlocks the Parent gate, selects one clothing photo or the supported camera, crops the image, and confirms its labels. If local background removal isn't available, keep the cropped photo. Sample and personal clothes have separate closet views. Saved looks show whether they use sample clothes, your clothes, or both.
Set or recover the Parent PIN
Open the Parent area, then Unlock Parent area. On first use, choose Unlock iPad to set up, complete the iPad's own authentication, and set a separate PIN with 6–12 numbers. If you forget it, choose Forgot PIN? Use iPad authentication. A device passcode must be configured. Anyone who can authenticate as the iPad owner can recover this PIN. If owner authentication isn't available, protected settings stay locked.
Use voice and outfit help
Open Talk to Mixie. The outfit request buttons work immediately. A grown-up can separately enable voice and on-device outfit understanding in the Parent area and choose an available Apple response voice. Spoken requests need on-device understanding to be enabled and available. Tap Talk to Mixie, then Finish listening when ready. Review the words, then choose Find outfits. Tap Stop to cancel.
Available voices, languages, speech recognition, and models depend on your iPad, settings, and installed assets. If a capability isn't available, use the outfit request buttons. Mixie doesn't switch to a remote recognition or model service or automatically download assets. Voice and model settings start off.
Delete personal data and manage backups
In the unlocked Parent area, choose Delete personal clothing & all looks… and confirm. This removes imported clothing and local images, saved looks and previews, the current draft, and worn selections. Sample clothing, settings, and the Parent PIN remain. It cannot be undone. Source Photos-library images and older backups are unaffected.
The Parent backup switch controls inclusion of the app's data directory in future iPad backups. It doesn't erase older backups.
